Our Story
Mystozer was founded in 2024 by Zhang Hanqing, who grew up watching his parents rearrange and repurpose furniture in a small apartment that never seemed to have enough storage. That early memory stayed with him, and years later, after working in supply chain and product development, he decided to build a brand focused on one simple problem: how do you give people more usable space in the rooms they already live in?
Mystozer started as a small team of designers, engineers, and customer service specialists who shared a hands-on approach to home organization. Rather than producing generic storage products, the team spent months testing shelf load capacity, researching common pain points, and refining assembly instructions based on real customer feedback.
Why Shelving?
Zhang Hanqing has said that shelving is one of the most overlooked categories in home goods - people rarely think about it until they run out of space, and then they need a solution fast. He wanted to create shelving that felt considered rather than like a temporary fix: sturdy enough for everyday use, straightforward enough to assemble without frustration, and versatile enough to work in a bedroom, garage, pantry, or home office.
Challenges Along the Way
In the brand's first year, one of the biggest challenges was balancing affordability with durability. Early prototypes tested well in the showroom, but customer feedback showed that shelves needed to hold up to real daily use, from kids climbing on shelves to unexpected overloading. The team went through several rounds of redesigning brackets and reinforcing shelf supports, and adjusted packaging after learning that some early shipments arrived with minor damage. These lessons directly shaped the products and shipping processes Mystozer uses today.
What We Hope to Offer You

Whether you're setting up a garage workspace, organizing a pantry, or finding a place for everything in a small apartment, our goal is for a Mystozer shelf to work quietly in the background of your daily life, giving you back some space and a bit of peace of mind.
We're grateful to every customer who chooses to bring a Mystozer shelf into their home, and we're always listening, adjusting, and improving based on what you tell us.
